About
Me
I’m Michael Lovelace,
a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist offering a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and supported.
My approach is person-centred at its heart, while drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs. I believe that therapy is not about telling you what to do, but working alongside you to explore what you are experiencing, understand yourself more deeply and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent many years working in investment banking and financial services IT. My own journey into therapy grew from a desire to work more closely with people and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Today, I support adults, children, young people and neurodivergent clients with a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
How I Can Help
I offer therapeutic support shaped around who you are and what you need.
One-to-one therapy for adults, tailored to you and what you would like to explore.
A safe and supportive space for young people, aged 11 - 18
to explore their feelings and experiences.
Neuro-affirming therapy tailored to individual needs, experiences and ways of communicating.
Drawing on my background in investment banking and financial services IT alongside my experience as a psychotherapist, I also work with organisations to support employee mental health and wellbeing.
